We offer 1:1 therapy based on the principles of ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis). ABA services focus on breaking down skills into smaller steps and focus on positive reinforcement. ABA therapy can include discrete trial training, verbal behavior, and incidental teaching/ natural environment training. Research shows ABA therapy is the most effective evidence-based treatment for Autism.
Therapy sessions are individualized and tailored to meet the needs of the child and the family. Goals of therapy often include increasing child’s communication, language, social skills, and academic skills. Parents can be included during part of the session in order to encourage follow through across settings. In addition, we can work with your child’s school or other service providers in order to provide consistency.
Free consultation- If you have questions about what therapy sessions would involve, we offer afree consultation so that you can be informed prior to signing up. Contact us to set up an appointment.
